Unlike books and Hollywood, the good guys don’t always triumph in the end. I’m constantly reminded that we’ve lived through a period of peace for quite a long time while the majority of human history has been punctuated by suffering.

What has me highly concerned are the number of people who are just woefully ignorant of how elections work in this country and how many people are frothing at the mouth for Trump to be “dragged from the WH kicking and screaming like a child” while the evidence points to exceptional cheating on the part of the Dems. Confirmation bias indeed.

That depends on where one pins "the end."

I've read the Bible. The "Good Guy" wins in the end.

But yep, on earth, generally the bad guys wins. It's unusual when the good guy wins, if we go on raw numbers. Totally true that we have been blessed with unprecedented peace and prosperity, I'm sure through our shared time here on earth, especially the last 50 years.

On the election, the press there is no evidence of cheating. In your face. Trump is a racist, "good people on both sides" with a straight face. If a person hasn't figured it out by now, well, I don't know what to think other than some of them are gullible lazy selfish idiots, and some of them are literally evil.
