“I think everyone here knows it’s not right,” said MAGA millennial Daniel Labrecque from Woodstock. “I think every Democrat thinks it’s highly unlikely Joe got more votes than Obama in 2008. It’s not looking legit right now.”
On stage, newly elected congresswoman, and Q-Anon adherent, Marjorie Taylor Greene whipped up the crowd under a sign reading “#StoptheSteal.”
Georgia “is not a blue state,” said Taylor Greene, dubbed by Trump as a GOP star in the making. The crowd at the Capitol seemed to agree, chanting “Mar-jor-ie” between applause lines.
“The radical left is the party of violence. They are the party of hate. They are the party of racism,” Taylor Greene said, vowing to fight alongside the president to overturn the election results.
Several protesters noticed the absence of the state’s top Republican elected officials, with one speaker asking, “Where’s (Gov.) Brian Kemp?”

“I’m not surprised the GOP is not behind Trump right now because they haven’t really been throughout his presidency,” Labrecque said.
Asked who he thinks will ultimately prevail, Labrecque said, “I think it’s too early to tell.”
“I think if Joe Biden is inaugurated, you’re going to see a lot more of this,” he said, gesturing to the raucous crowd.
For some in the crowd, the stakes couldn’t be more high. Among the chants generated Saturday: “The gates of Hell will not prevail.”

The more I think about the election the angrier I get because of all the important policies and initiatives that will be swept away.
Mid-East peace efforts will be reset. North Korea inroads reset. Iran will be reset and set up for their nuclear ambitions. Paris Climate Accords. Sanctions will go away and China will become the top economy. Our energy independence will go by the wayside. Manufacturing will slide. We'll go back to be uncompetitive in corporate tax rates compared to the rest of the world. Single payer will come. Dreamers and others will be citizens. Free speech will be silenced and curtailed. The swamp will be safe despite all the corruption. Initiatives on HIV/AIDS, educational choice and many many more things will be RESET by Biden.
Perhaps worst of all, those of us who were among the 70 million who rejected Biden will be bullied, caricatured, muzzled and targeted.
I've seen about ten presidents in my life time and I've never been sickened by an election result like I am right now. Sickened for the soul of the nation and her prospects.
We live in an America where identity politics and division win against unity and finding common ground in American ideals.
Warnock will win but hopefully we can save Perdue.
Maybe it’s me but I haven’t noticed one House or Senate Republican backing our president in this time of trial.
