Yes it was. There were recounts in MI and WI, which were stopped when fraud was discovered. There was an attempted recount in PA which was stopped by the courts. There were attempts to get Trump electors to be “faithless”.

The 2016 election was not contested. Not by Hillary directly. There were recounts in WI, PA, and MI. If my memory serves me correctly, they had to stop the MI recount because Wayne county records were all messed up..
