A few days out from the 2020 election, county officials still have an estimated 171,000 potential votes left to count across North Carolina.
Thats according to an analysis of state election data by The News & Observer as of about 6 a.m. Friday. The remaining ballots are unlikely to change unofficial results for the largest races for the White House and Senate, but they could affect downballot races with much smaller margins.
The 171,000 ballots, a figure that represents the absolute maximum number of votes left to count, break down into three main categories: outstanding mail-in ballots, mail-in ballots received since Election Day, and provisional ballots.

The N&O is all in for biden, don’t believe a word they say! Mecklenburg, Guilford, Orange, Durham and Wake counties are the dim hotbeds in the state. Durham alone pulled off the 80,000 vote “Durham Miracle” that sealed wins for Gov Cooper and AG Stein in 2016. Finding 6 figures will be easy among all these counties!
I predict every swing state will give Biden the same margin of 2000 votes. A little FU to Trump
How much did Trump and Tillis win by?
It’s amazing how the votes just keep showing up.
Trump leads by 76,000. Tillis by 97,000. Well within margin of votes being counted and yet to be received.
And if that doesn’t work 100,000 more ballots will show up.
IN BOXES FROM CHINA as proven with photographic evidence!
Trump is up by more than 70,000; Tillis by 97,000.
And, they are from heavily Democrat precincts, right?
Aren’t they always...
I am watching the rape of the country and there is nothing we can do but watch unless we pull the gun.
