Donald Trump over-performed the polls and shocked the pundits again on Tuesday, getting so close to the finish line that several key states have yet to be called.
This is a significant achievement, and even if he doesn’t ultimately win, Republicans have a strong chance of holding the Senate and defanging a Biden presidency from the outset.
But beginning late on election night, Trump has reminded everyone how he’s always refused to conform himself to the institution of the presidency, a fact that helped repel suburban and college-educated voters, perhaps dooming his reelection bid.
In his 2:30 a.m. appearance before supporters at the White House, Trump said that he had already won the election and it was being stolen away from him in a fraud on the nation, vowing to go to the Supreme Court for redress. He doubled down with an even more outlandish statement on Thursday night.
It’s not unusual for candidates in close, drawn-out elections to project confidence, but a president of the United States obviously shouldn’t declare himself the winner of a national election before the final result is known and allege fraud without any hard evidence.
There is no doubt that mail-in voting is less secure than in-person voting, and the way the vote-counting has played out in the Blue Wall states and Georgia — with Trump leading early, then pauses in the counts before resuming with Biden making huge gains — inevitably fuels suspicions.
But the contours of the count track with the larger pattern of the vote. Trump encouraged his supporters to vote on Election Day, and these same-day votes are counted first, while Democrats tended to vote early, which are counted later.

This was not an election. No more than soviet or Saddams elections were.
Look everyone. Did they cheat? Yes. Was mail voting terribly flawed and inviting fraud? Yes.
Is that why we are losing the presidency? Maybe and no.
And yes. Mail in voting was an abomination, especially combined with early voting. But like everything evil the left does, they normalize it and make it “legal”.
Maybe we’ll win recounts. Maybe we’ll prove enough actual fraud.
But the legal voting system was a disaster for us, and I’m sorry to say Trump squandered opportunities.
Do I love his arrogance and honesty? Yes. But continuing to be negative about dead McCain in AZ? Refusing to just say wear masks (voluntarily) without going on and on about a waiter touching their mask? Blowing the chance in the first debate to be “presidential”? After all he was in fact president.
He did great as president, he did great in the election, but he also screwed up, and the legal voting system was designed to make him lose.
Speaking for myself, I’m tired of hearing that losing votes in Democrat cities is just fraud, and that someone should cancel and redo the election.
Yes the democrats are evil, antisocial media is evil, leftists are haters and liars, America may very well lose out to China. But we have a POPULATION of minorities, illegals and their kids and brainwashed leftists.
And you were NOT going to prevent the popular vote from spreading to the electoral vote. Not forever. That’s because the electoral system works and eventually was going to reflect the national popular vote.

Bullshit. He will have the party of the CIA, FBI, communist AG who will launch prosecutions against us. They will designate us as terrorists and criminalize speech like in England. All will be rubber stamped by federal courts.

None of us needs to underestimate the power of prayer! God has brought Trump through all of the attempts to destroy him and we must have faith that he will do it again.
There is an enormous battle raging right now in the spiritual realm. The darkness is trying to prevent itself from being exposed. We need to call on all Saints, intercessors and prayer warriors to lift up the supernatural wind and help the President who is called for in such a time as this, to cross the finish line.
So, let the Lord God hear your constant prayers! He will listen.
The Democrats called out Trump as an illegitimate President since election day 2016. Dozens boycotted his inauguration and the RESIST movement was inflicted upon our government. The Democrats, with media’s help, waged a 3-plus year Russia collusion war on no basis, and ultimately impeached Trump in the House. Mainstream media stories on him were negative well over 90% of the time. Democrats and the media then blamed him for a virus created and China which has infected the world.
And they are upset that he’s not acting more o their liking now?
