It's not the polls. Van Jones and other progressives quietly realizes that even if Biden somehow wins, he'll get almost zero accomplished. The House GOP is a powerful minority and a good chunk of House Dems aren't going to play with Pelosi, assuming if she's still speaker. None of Biden's judges or nominees will get confirmed in the Senate.
The one damage Biden could do is erase all of Trump's gains in foreign policy and make deals with our enemies again.

No, Biden can permanently destroy our economy. All he has to do is “listen to the science” and Federally mandate going back to Phase 1.

The House Dems will do exactly as the speaker demands. Since the loss of earmarks, the leader of the House and the leader of the Senate may be the most powerful people in our country. They call the shots. The only time a representative will go against the leadership who is of the same party is when he or she is allowed to vote a certain way to appease the rubes back home.
