Would expect the WH to issue a clarification because (partly in a malicious way) the media have spun the overnight remarks into words that do not quite match what was said, but more importantly, do not at all match the reality.
There is no “baseless accusation” and there is no attempt to deny votes legitimately cast.
What does exist is a strong suspicion that this process can easily be manipulated in cities controlled by Democratic political machines, and fake ballots could be mixed in with legitimate mailed ballots.
Breathless media spiels about there never being fraud are frankly just pathetic displays of either ignorance or duplicity.
There has been fraud in the past, even the sainted JFK benefitted from it and probably won the 1960 election as a result of it, in Chicago and Texas. I suspect that it has been tried in almost every election and that sometimes its only effect has been to reduce a Republican’s margin of victory, but more to the point, in 2020 it seems clear that fraud is not only widespread, it is orchestrated from one or two central sources, one of which could very well be the DNC and the other likely perp is the Soros type billionaire activist (not only Soros, in my opinion).
These people have made no secret of wanting to spend a lot of money to change the world to their liking. Fair enough if it’s only through legitimate political activity and advocacy, but of course, it goes deeper than that.
The orchestrated responses to police shootings more or less proves that point.
Red states need to band together and plan for an economic disaster if the socialists get at the levers of power. But the divide spills over into the non-urban portions of the blue states. Within those states, coalitions of lawmakers could take the same approach. Emergency planning for the inevitable collapse of the country’s social and economic fabric needs to begin the day after any hypothetical Electoral College win for the Communists (you may know them as Democrats).
They will talk like moderates for a short time to lull people into a false sense of security. Lenin had his charming moments too.
