She is not a registered voter in the NC precinct and has no legitimate purpose to enter as a candidate’s spouse. Jill can thank the workers back home in her own precinct, or wait unto the election is over. There is a distance from the entrance of the polling place that no campaigning may be done inside that perimeter, last I knew it was 50 feet. The poll workers have to clearly mark that perimeter before the poll opens at 6:30 am. If she is in NC, she should stand outside and thank the voters going in or coming out, as long as she is campaigning outside the perimeter, she can be from Mars.
