What Conservatives are Up Against

Leading America: President Trump's Commitment to People, Patriotism, and Capitalism by Sean Spicer delves into what civility means in America today. People hear Joe Biden speak all the time of not believing in a red and blue America, but it is obvious that the real culprits are the Democrats. After all, they never accepted the results of the 2016 election. Even worse are those like Robert Reich, who has called for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the purpose of which is to condemn and shun those who supported President Trump. In the book, Spicer, the former White House Press Secretary and Communications Director, analyzes the current political situation through the lens of politics and culture. He makes good points on how President Trump has put the country back on the right track. American Thinker interviewed him about some of the points made in the book.

His first chapter is titled, “The Battle for The Soul of America.” But conservatives might question if America still has a soul. After all, just look at what happened to the Girl Scouts. They had the “nerve” to congratulate Amy Coney Barrett for becoming a Supreme Court Justice. Nasty comments caused that group to take down the tweet. Spicer noted, “Even her own sorority did the same thing. They did not even congratulate her, but mentioned she was nominated and had to take it down. The difference between the right and left is that I might not agree with something, but I will defend someone’s right. But the left says if you do not do the following, you are a bad person.” To make the left even angrier, President Trump, many Fox pundits, and others tweeted in support of Spicer, which enabled him to make it to the quarter semi-finals.

We’re up against every single Institution in the country.

They’re ALL controlled by dems/Trump haters:

Media, Academia, Government...

Including the military/Officer Corps.

I never want to see these “Truth and Reconciliation” commissions. That’s what they set up in post apartheid South Africa, to deal with their past.

I reject the premise that all of America’s alleged sins of the past require Truth and Reconciliation. If we had such commissions, they would be used to bash conservatives, and promote liberal and leftist ideology. No thanks.

<< After all, they never accepted the results of the 2016 election. >>

They haven’t accepted the results of a GOP Presidential victory since the ‘80s.

Were up against our own shyness...... America is like a catered ballroom party.... The Liberals are up on the stage with microphones setting the narrative.... The American people are sitting at their assigned tables, or hanging out at the bar, or out on the dance floor..... And far too many people are afraid to say that they disagree with what the people with the microphones up on the stage are saying......because they just want to have a pleasant time at the party, and don’t want any unpleasant confrontations

“Conservatives” embraced globalism and it has been down hill ever since.
