I was one of those. I figured we would get 4 more years of Trump, a republican senate and a slightly dem house, along with 2 SC justice appointments in the 2nd term followed by the eventual pendulum swing back to a dem president.
Unfortunately; it doesn't look like a 2nd term is going to happen barring a miracle, and President Trump was only a speed bump for the establishment, deep state.
I am eternally grateful to President Trump for being the fighter that he is, and what he accomplished in 4 years. The republican party without Trump is dead.
Highly unlikely that we see another republican president after Trump for decades, if ever.
I just looked over at the DUmp, and for all the hangdogs here there are 2 sad sacks there.
They are not doing high 5s and victory laps.
The only time I am voting again is when the actual guy who is everything they claim Trump was shows up.
If it is indeed over, Trump's greatest accomplishment will have been denying the presidency to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
