McConnell was a pathetic disaster during impeachment. His Senate failed to gather a single fact on the hoaxblower who launched his seditious operation from his CIA desk in Langley. That should have resulted in a full Senate investigation once the ICIG played for Team Dem and a Senate recommendation to remove Haspel. None of that happened. The GOP Senate allowed the Dems to use impeachment to hamstring POTUS and MAGA. Then right after that the Chicom flu dropped.
All the Senate could do was hold hearings and you know what, hard to hold hearings without witnesses testifying against their colleagues. Also the Justice Department disn’t “do” jack squat either.
