What case, though? I mean, what is the reason you offer for wanting whatever course of action by the court? What has happened at this point that needs to be resolved?
Also, how would you impound votes that haven’t even yet been cast? It would be an impossibility, obviously. You could only impound the already legally cast uncounted votes - but that’s not even likely to happen, with no cause to do so.
The argument in PA was that state law requires them to be postmarked by the 3rd. The Dems dont want the postmarks to be a requirement. The Supreme didnt take it up at the time. North Carolina apparently gives themselves a week to count them. I dont think there is an issue there with postmarks. They are required.
