My parents aren’t voting for Trump (or Biden) this year. Both voted for Trump in 2016. It is what it is. Leftists seem far more prone to breaking relationships over politics than conservatives.

Not uncommon today with the older generation due to COVID-19 and thinking Trump is either to blame for it or is flippant about the seriousness of the virus. You should see the folks on the early retirement forums who are now in their late 50s through 70s. You would think the catching COVID-19 was guaranteed death for them.

That said, I have to think there is a sizable number of older folks who see the riots and destruction by Antifa/BLM, and they are very likely voting for Trump, regardless of who they voted for in 2016 (if they even voted).

Hubby’s youngest daughter gave him the “for the sake of our relationship” it’s best not to talk politics yesterday.

So right - lefties are MUCH more prone to breaking with family.

Course, I have 2 brothers left of 5 - the ONE who is leftist defended CUOMO as we all ate dinner in TEXAS Saturday night. I wanted to gag!
