He’s getting rid of all the toll booths on the NYS Thruway in the very near future. There’s plenty of ways to bypass the Thruway, and travel out of State. I’ve done it many times in the past, and there’s no way he will be able to catch the folks who use back roads to cross the State line. I don’t know how he expects to enforce this. He doesn’t have that many State Police to begin with, and I doubt he’ll get the various County Sheriffs, and local P.D.’s to enforce it. They’ve got other problems to contend with than playing dog catcher.
That’s my thought exactly.
We usually don’t leave or enter the state by interstate anyways.
We take a kind of back roads route and if need be, mr. mm can hop on Rt 20 near Albany. It’ll take longer, but east of Cazenovia, 20 isn’t bad.
Between Caz and Skaneateles, however, it’s a death trap.
