You are an idiot. Ted Cruz's mother was a natural born citizen from Delaware. She never gave up her citizen ship when she went to Canada to work, and that she married a Cuban citizen, (Ted's father) is besides the point. My son and my daughter were both born in Germany seven years apart in the same hospital, when my husband, who is from Upstate New York was stationed in Germany. We drove to Munich to the American Consulate with our six week old son and my husband registered our son's birth and received a birth certificate for our son.

We did the same thing seven years later with our daughter. I assume Ted Cruz's mother did the same thing that my husband did and registered Ted's birth with the American Consulate.

BTW both our son and daughter were born in the same hospital about seven years apart. The midwife that was attending still recognized me.

Ted is not one, he was born a Canadian.

Natural born citizens are NATURALLY citizens because it is not possible for them to be anything else, born here of citizen parents.

Any other citizenship negates natural born citizen status.

The children of foreigners are PRECISELY who the founders were excluding.

They may be citizens but they are not natural born citizens as they also inherited the citizenship of their foreign parents, same way Ted Cruz has any claim to US citizenship.
