Reading Stephen Kruiser’s Friday column about the possibility of election night and post-election civil unrest inspires speculative analysis about various scenarios that may present after America votes on Tuesday. Of course, the voting hasn’t been and will continue not to be only on Tuesday, and that’s a big part of a potential problem.
Cutting right to the chase, there are three possible outcomes, the third being negatively open-ended as to consequences: Trump wins incontrovertibly or Biden wins incontrovertibly. By incontrovertibly we mean the results are so definitively in favor of one candidate that there will be no substantive disagreement as to who won.
Or, a third possible outcome, not as bad as an outright Biden win, but far less than optimum for Trump Nation: there is no clear winner on election night, or in the days and weeks after.
The question becomes, to what degree of severity will social unrest, violent demonstration, and rioting break out nationally in each of the three scenarios? That this question even has to be asked is a sad indication of the depths to which the Left in this country has sunken in terms of their abandonment of lip-service to the constitutional norms and the ideals of fair play that have historically characterized our political arena.
They stand accused of unmasked anarchist blackmail by threat of turmoil and destruction.
When pundits write and speak on the issue of 2020 outcome unrest, they often add the disclaimer that there may be no unrest at all. It is prudent to say that, because yes, it’s possible that whatever happens, aside from incidences involving a few Marxist squeaky wheels

If we play cowboys and antifas, I am betting on the cowboys. This cowboy family has six semi-automatic rifle and 10,000 rounds of ammunition. I have a few deer heads and one bear head mounted on the wall in the den. There is enough room for a few fa heads.
I’m sure it will be a waste, but tomorrow in church I’ll be asking for prayers for peace in our nation, post election.
Would we even be speculating about this, if they expected a big Biden victory? So many polls show Biden comfortably ahead.
Isn’t the real reason there is talk about this subject, due to fears of what the reaction of the left to a Trump re-election?
Imho there will be very little, except the usual suspects in the usual city centers.
And with the election over, no one will have a motive to tolerate it.
Plus it’s getting cold out.
What I am seeing in all these stories about the Post Election riots/violence is there is a hope that it will happen, an encouragement for it to happen so as to have something to write about for the coming weeks.
Its getting to the point of being ridiculous.
Keep the goals of each side in mind. The right wants pre 1913 Liberty for all Americans. The left wants to smash the system and submit all to their whims ( Baal-ism).
Violence is a given. If Trump wins, they’ll try to tear down the state. If Biden wins....they’ve overthrown the state, and it now serves them. They’ll then attempt to eradicate the right.

I believe there will be a brief but intense post-election period of bloodshed. The unhinged Left will try to settle some scores, and Patriots, who have done a magnificent job of keeping their powder dry, will finally have enough.
I put the death toll in the hundreds. I think the Loonie Left has amassed a sizable arsenal and are itching to use it. OTOH Patriots are ready.

So what happens if there is relatively little unrest (Trump wins)? No news story? Too bad.

I was just stating to someone today, that the mobs (Antifa and BLM groups and their ilk) are going to riot no matter what. Just like the mobs in previous years after the Super Bowl, NBA championship, and the World Series, they looted, burned, and did all kinds of mayhem. It did not matter if they lost or even if they won. They were going to cause problems simplely because they could.
It will be a repeat of Occupy Wall Street except in DC.
Expect Seattle, Portland, Rochester, Baltimore, Philadephia, Chicago, LA to participate in the festivities. There could be more.

Sounds paranoid, but wife and I have been getting ready since Obami got the nomination all those years ago. And this somehow looks worse than he did. We live out in the country, with a valley running up to the house. Crest that hill with bad intent and I hope we can roll enough of them back down to scare the rest. We don’t have an California arsenal(3 guns, a scope and 125 rounds), we have a bit more. Could make close to $10K just selling half my 9mm and still have over 3k rounds of 9.
