Before Trump took office, conventional wisdom was that American blacks would never vote Republican. As Lyndon Johnson reputedly said after passing the Civil Rights Act, “I’ll have those n****** voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” It didn’t matter that Democrats broke their promises or that their policies worsened the plight of inner-city blacks. Black voters remained loyal. This year, though, after Trump spent four years making a positive difference for black America, blacks are breaking ranks and openly supporting President Trump.
Thomas Sowell wrote in 2016, shortly before Trump was elected, “Black votes matter. If Republicans could get 20 percent of black votes, the Democrats would be ruined.” He added, though, “This is highly unlikely, given the approach used by Republicans.”
Thankfully, Trump jettisoned the traditional Republican approach to blacks, which was to ignore them. He supercharged the economy, which helped blacks. He choked off illegal immigration, which helped blacks. He reversed the disastrous 1994 Crime Bill that sent generations of black sons, brothers, and fathers to prison. He partnered with Sen. Tim Scott to create opportunity zones in black communities. He also worked with faith leaders, academics, musicians, and Kardashians, always with an eye, not to aggrandizing himself, but truly to improving the quality of black life in America.
Trump’s efforts have paid off. Van Jones, a black progressive, has acknowledged that Trump’s efforts have improved life for poor blacks. Van Jones isn’t the only black person to notice these positive changes.
Today, Trump tweeted out a video showing a man named Barry praising Trump’s policies, promises, and brains. Even more than his praise for Trump, Barry’s understanding of Biden – his criminality, his racism, his uselessness, and his affinity for China – is epic:

50 Cent encouraged fans to vote for Trump when he realized what his tax bill would be under a Biden administration. He made a U-turn on that when his ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Handler, told him to stop thinking for himself and, instead, to think like a generic black man, plus she promised to pay his taxes for him. It didn’t seem to matter to 50 Cent that most blacks don’t have a rich girlfriend to pay them for their vote.
Wakka Flocka Flame endorsed Trump, saying that he is a better president than Barack Obama was:
It all started on Thursday when hip-hop personality and commentator DJ Akademiks shared a clip of a speech Obama gave on Instagram. Obama appeared at a rally in Philadelphia on Wednesday in support of his former vice president and the current Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden. “The big homie #barackobama violated #donaldtrump at a rally event today,” Akademiks captioned the post.
One of Akademiks’ followers commented that “it’s people who think Trump is a better President than Obama” along with a clown-face emoji, to which Flocka replied: “Guess I’m a clown.”
Earlier this week, Lil Pump endorsed Trump because he, like 50 Cent before Handler browbeat him, doesn’t want to pay high taxes (language warning):

And then, just yesterday, Lil Wayne boasted about a “great meeting” he had with Trump regarding criminal justice reform and Trump’s Platinum Plan, which will treat both the KKK and Antifa as terrorist groups, make Juneteenth a federal holiday, and continue to work on bolstering blacks’ economic status.
The end of the Democrat Party has a nice ring to it. I fled that party a dozen years ago, and I know I’m one of several million who could no longer take the far left turn they’ve taken and bailed on them. I see that trend continuing after Trump’s massive victory.

We don’t need to get 30% of the black vote(Which I have seen and is folly), all we need to do and are doing is depress the young minority vote. Which is happening. early minority voting not materializing. Trump gets north of 20% of the minority vote in Mi, Wis, Mi, PA, and NC and it’s blowout time folks. Wouldn’t that be something and is very likely, the black vote saves the Republic.
“The end of the Democrat Party has a nice ring to it.”
The Democrat party won’t go easily or quietly. Leftists are committed to the cause, and nothing short of blood letting will end the Democrat party.
We have been teased as long as I can remember about the black vote. In 2016 not much changed as 8% voted Trump. His what have you got to lose didn’t move the needle. There does seem to be great promise this time around. We will know next week if a real breakthrough has happened. Even if it does it might just be a one time event unless our side draws some lessons.
Well, I saw we have over black 1 million voting-eligible voters here in PA. If a third of them vote, doing the math if Trump gets 2016 number he gets 26k at 8% if he gets a fantasy 15% or 50k, that’s 24k differential.. That’s a needle mover and covers some of the fraud that always happens.
It wasn’t that Bush, for instance, ignored Blacks. His conventions actually pressed really strongly for Black inclusion. But he thought he could win them over with symbolism, which instead came across as tokenism. Meanwhile, he continued the Clinton policies of destroying the working class by supplanting Black and poor White workers with 3rd-world immigrants. Neither of which is not how to give Black people warm fuzzies. Trump used the opposite approach: quietly address the issues that many Blacks care most about, while shedding the patronizing image by speaking in real, strong terms that offend privileged folks, but communicate confidence and strength to less-privileged folks.
And yes, if you studied ethnic studies at a private college, you are more privileged than most European nobility.
It’d be funny if Trump voters clogged up all those busses on Election Day.
50 didnt reverse himself. That was clear sarcasm at her offer to hump him if he said hes not for Trump.
Easy there. First lets see it really happen.
Second Trump is unique. The GOL is going to have to deliver to keep those voters.
Trump is not like other Republicans.... I remember people saying that it’s time for republicans to stop fantasising about Pennsylvania....we’re never ever ever gonna win Pennsylvania
Trump is a new Republican, and slowly but surely, the GOP is being remade in his image. By 2024, the RINOs will be gone, and a new breed of Republican will be in place.
Blacks in my social circle are very enthusiastic about voting Trump.
End of the demonrats!!!!!?...dont tease us like that...demonrats are like cockroaches, rats, ticks, and etc...they will be around for the last confiscated public dollar handed out...
Oh I agree with that. I’m just cautious from the past. I was cautious when Trump began his campaign and it took me until the middle of the primaries to be won over. I want him to succeed with everyone and I’m cautiously optimistic for this election. There are plenty of signs for optimism.
“if its a large cascade preference, it spells the end of the Democrat party”
And watch all the Republican denizens elbowing each other to get out in front of the parade. THAT’s the big concern I have: will these self-serving politicians poison the well by being just as patronizing to minorities as the Dems have been.
Cynical? Why, I have no idea what you mean...
Everybody but DJT, that is!
I watched the Trump Card movie and the Dem plan for Socialism in the USA. How ironic it would be that American Freedom survives this threat because Black America walking away from the Dems.
