As a father who lost his daughter, I will tell you the only way to avoid this is to immediately take away all social and internet interactions among your pre-teen daughter. The disease is spreading like wildfire among the young girls.
“Irreversible Damage” by Abigail Shrier should be required reading for every parent with a daughter. Preferably, the sooner the better.
