Rush said he would do his best to be back Monday. I don’t think he was planning on leaving, and this is spur of the moment,sounds like something came up and he is doing a re-run of the MAGA rally that was on his show several weeks ago.
I’m guessing he’s heading off to have chemo, because he said “I’ll try to be back here Monday” - maybe he’s doing what he can so he can be on the air on election day (it would sure suck to have a guest host on THAT day!).
