Rush posits that the pollsters don’t want to have egg on their faces come election day, so the polls begin to “tighten up” about 10 to 14 days before the election. If the pollsters continue their dreaming of a Dem victory by a big margin and the Dem loses, then the pollsters lose business in the next election.
