According to the Associated Press, Charles Carmakal, the chief technical officer of the cybersecurity firm Mandiant, called it "the most significant cyber security threat weve ever seen in the United States, and Alex Holden, the CEO of Hold Security, "agreed that the unfolding offensive is unprecedented in magnitude for the U.S."

My granddaughter’s hospital in Calif. was attacked for ransom a couple of weeks ago. Don’t know if it’s been taken care of. She said they were having to do everything with pen and paper.
A local hospital here in MO was attacked but was able to fend the attack off.
Looks like the government is covering their tracks again. If there are hackers, who’s to say whether they are government operatives or foreign actors or both.
The federal government is at least as big or greater threat to privacy of its citizens than foreign entities.
The default position must be that the government and their media accomplices are lying until proven otherwise.
My sister’s hospital (in Vermont) has been impacted and are routing ICU patients to a non Cetrix hospital.
The office of my son’s Rheumatologist was attacked with ransomware a year or so ago. They wouldn’t’t even make appointments because of it. He finally got fed up and found himself another doctor.
Penn here in philly uses this thing called bluejeans for conferencing. Who knows how protected it is.
There’s many foreign countries affecting this election and attempting to also affect our institutional operations 24/7.
Cyber war is a given.
