So was Arthur Goldberg, who tried to have the death penalty abolished. I’m not a fan of the Kennedy clan, JFK included. He cut defense while pretending to be a hawk. Without his hesitation at the Bay of Pigs, there would have been no Missile Crisis. And he basically backed down by withdrawing missiles from Turkey. The liberal media trumpeted this as some great victory. Obama was the black JFK, but not in the way he meant.
Admittedly, I may have overstated.
However, I’m firmly convinced JFK’s governance would make him a pariah with today’s Democrat party.
