“It’s hard to complain about the conditions you find on a free platform, I’d say.”

How do you figure it’s free? Like socialism free stuff, one supposes - everything is free.
I didn’t even get into the socials needing to register as PACs; yet another reason the special treatment by the government should not exist.
Dem rags/platforms are all the same...conform, agree with us, or be cancelled.
This is how they promote their idea of free speech and democracy.
It is the same way NAZIs and Communists promotes their idea of free speech and democracy
North Korea and China are still doing it...and Democratics have learned well.
NY Post has a business Facebook, Twitter and Google account. They are paying for these services. Is Twitter like a utility? Is Twitter a publisher? They have legal protection as one but use their censorship like another? Cant have it both ways. Either youre the phone company oblivious to calls us or you are a news network editing content.
He’s wrong. It’s not free. They have business accounts on social media.
Absolutely. I thought what a stoner. Surprised he can run a business.
On the day after the election, Trump should dump twitter.
Playing devils advocate, by banning the Hunter story doesn’t that drive people straight to the NY Post to read?
They get a Section 230 exemption from liablity. By editing content they should not be protected.
So when they ban you or stop you from monitizing (sharing ad revenue thru traffic) for content “they” deem inappropriate they could be sued.
As of now they can’t be sued.
Why don’t all conservatives simply boycott and abandon Twitter and let it be what it wants to be?
Set up a conservative alternative.
Let the libs have it - it’s already mostly theirs.
Because then you are giving in to political corruption and what’s to make sure the next site doesn’t do the same.
Yes!
If anyone deserves a beat down its Mullah Dorsey. Fluckerberg next (what’s up with that haircut other than his ever growing forehead?) Lastly Poindexter Pichai at Google.
Other than the Section 230 protection
The section protects these platforms as being essentially utilities in regards distribution of content.
The platforms did not grow to their monopolistic proportions by behaving the way they do now, and they are using the monopoly power to abuse those they disagree with. Had they started as a monitored platform and continued that, it wouldn’t be a problem, but it didn’t so it is now that they are repurposing it to selectively block the communications they were created and grown to accentuate. They effectively replaced the paperboys and distribution network and then shut it down for those they don’t like at a critical point in time.
Why dont all conservatives simply boycott and abandon Twitter and let it be what it wants to be?
