China is behaving more, and more, belligerently.

Just saying.

Maybe they think Biden’s gonna win.

I had visited HK 5-6 times in the 1980s and 90s before the handover. A little rough around the edges, but in a good way. Great people, 100 years of British administration gave them a deep appreciation for freedoms of democracy.(yes, a colony, but a lot of local representation.) I feel for what they must be going through now and a deep sense of loss of what they once had. I haven’t been back. I’d rather not.

China is behaving more, and more, belligerently.

Is the Trump administration acting belligerently when it arrests left wing "activists" in Portland?

I have been there several times, originally back before any of the Chinese takeover, it was very cheap back then.

I went back recently, it was EXPENSIVE now. Not stuff, stuff is pretty cheap there. But expensive to be there.

Wow.

Taiwan is proof that the Chinese people can achieve much when living under decent leadership.Hong Kong was as well...once upon a time. But eventually Hong Kong will look just like the rest of China...a massive cesspool.

I've been there...I've seen it.

Good to know. I loved Hong Kong, Macao, mainland Chinese people. It’s just the CCP. Pure evil power mongers.

Well, I guess Mr. Chung will have to wait for Joe Biden to be elected; then all Chinese-related problems (including Covid, of course!) will be resolved.

Hunter said so.

Sorry, guys, I am feeling really crabby as the election approaches. I got into a messenger argument with my sister, a Lib Dem living in Madtown, WI.

I said, “You even told me you were scared by the ‘peaceful protesters’ who you could hear from your porch. Did you see what happened in Philly? It’s ridiculous. Reparations are obviously due; they come in the form of high-end shoes, clothing, jewelry, TVs, etc. So if that’s what you want more of, vote for Senile Joe. These things don’t happen in Dallas. Only in Dem-run cities.”

She said, “Whoa! Calm down!”

I answered, I am so sorry. I am just aggravated and I took it out on you. :)

This election, within the context of probably one of the worst years ever, is driving people (at least me) insane.

“I’ve been there...I’ve seen it.”

So very sad. So much potential and hopes, all dashed to the ground. :(

I just reread my post, it sounds like my comment came from @SunnyCheungky.

That was my comment. I added the address @SunnyCheungky to log where the original tweet could be found.

Excuse any confusion.
