Anyone choosing to use part should lose her drivers license. And if they’re caught driving a car with pot, the car should be seized. There should be zero tolerance.

If they’re cannabis users, they’re not sober.

Nonsense.

Nobody is suggesting driving while high. I don’t believe you understood the point. People are receiving DUI’s without having consumed cannabis that day or even that week.

Long after the psychoactive effects wear off, THC can remain in your system for around thirty days because it is fat soluble. It stores in fat and is metabolized accordingly.

It’s a problem. I don’t drink or smoke, but it’s not my business to tell people they can’t do those things on their own time and in their own homes. It only becomes my business when a person puts me at risk, and having THC in one’s blood may not mean that they’re high. It’s not like alcohol.

No - I *DO* understand and you’re missing my point.

It’s Hypocrisy.

DUI laws have been dialed down so tightly that you can test positive without even consuming alcohol

But those laws continue to be tightened.

Texting while driving, while a distraction, is no moreso a distraction than trying to find a station, set the thermostat or any of a dozen other things you can do in the car.

But those laws continue to be tightened.

Pot use, on the other hand, has direct statistical proof to show that it helps leftists win elections when legalized. THAT’S why it’s being pushed so hard - even though though California legalizes pot but bans vaping.

Figure that one out.

You wanna stop the opioid crisis?

But that demon reefer!!

If you want the government that arrests and jails people for smoking pot, you want tyranny. Arresting and jailing people who perform dangerous actions that risk harm to others while impaired, that’s the limit of reasonable there.
