With the state of Illinois seeing increases in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations, Gov. J.B. Pritzker says there are no plans currently in place to turn Chicago’s McCormick Place into a field hospital to deal with a potential surge in patients.
The convention center, which was prepared as an emergency field hospital earlier this year before being decommissioned when coronavirus cases and hospitalizations began to decrease, could still be used in that capacity in the future, but Pritzker says that advances in the treatment of coronavirus, and a better understanding of how the virus spreads, mean that the facility will not be used in that way during the current uptick in cases.

Illinois is living under a Pharaoh spirit. The citizens are beginning to get the idea what the Israelites went through. The state needs another Moses to “let its people go”.
Interesting that all of these liberal run states are now pumping up “lockdowns” again, when the Republicans are maximizing in person voting, and no doubt will win if allowed to vote. They pumped up mail in voting because they knew that Democrats would probably win that venue.

NY didnt need all the extra beds Trump provided...neither did Michigan....Los Angeles....New Jersey....and that was in April. Nothing but a scare tactic...
The count is in the nursing homes and prisons.
I still haven’t seen a dead body lying by the side of the street. I haven’t seen any ambulances going around the neighborhoods with sirens on, or sirens off for that matter. I know lots of people, literally hundreds through my work, and none of them has had covid. The only people who thought they had covid early on tested negative. Nobody I know has ever called in sick due to covid.
We all have to take our temperature at the door to work, and nobody in the last 4 months has measured a temperature of even 100 degrees. They are always getting 96.9 and sometimes as much as 98.7, but mostly they are in the high 97’s.
Now there are those of us who believe the whole thing is a scam so people can get extra time away from work to goof off. But the people who shut down our restaurants and schools are going to argue that because of all the lockdowns and mask wearing, we have had a lot fewer deaths than we would have if we didn’t do anything. I think it is quite an advantage for them to be able to claim that because I think it is total bu!!$#it, but I don’t have anything to use to argue against it.
Nor have we seen the corpse-loaded pushcarts with the cries of "Bring out your dead"!
These a-holes are playing the same game as before the "CURVE". Just sick of it but we still have some Fearpers on here once in a while who want to set us straight.
Roll cameras at the DNC headquarters and election parties next Tuesday night and you should get plenty of footage of dead bodies
The Circus Elephant Governor and Mayor Lighthead have already shut down all trade shoes and conventions for McCormick Place in 2021.
The Major Trade Shows are making plans to move to Vegas or Orlando - these shows will never return to Chicago.
