It’s amazing how astonishingly naive people can be. This liberal love fest believing “everyone is basically good and the same” is now being exposed. When a culture believes “good” is that their religion dominates and doesn’t allow any other, you’re slapped in the face with the realization that “good” doesn’t have a universal meaning.
Islam is toxic to individual liberty and every other religion. If that isn’t obvious to them they’re doomed. At the very least they already have a severe problem that isn’t going to get better - there’s now too many of them.

It’s almost beyond comprehension. Some guy has one less female employee than he should have, and the liberals go nuts. But Muslims literally butcher women for Sharia Law reasons and the liberals are silent.

You’ve put your finger on the issue. Good DOES have a universal meaning and it’s founded in Jesus Christ. When you and your culture reject Jesus Christ but try to maintain a culture founded on Him as the Son of God, you have no foundational beliefs. You can’t tell good from evil.
The moral relativists and atheists have rejected God and have no absolute morality but social convention. That’s how Islam waltzed in.
