Pretty good article except I miss the days when editors looked things over. The person Amy Coney Barrett is referred to as Amy Coney Barrett, Amy Coney, Coney, and Barrett with no explanation as to why the same person needs to be referenced in so many different ways.

I believe Coney is her maiden name. She probably does not have a middle name, so she uses that.
I don't have no middle name, but when I originally made my Drivers License in 1967 I used my maiden name as my middle name, because I thought that is what you do. When I get mail about my car being due for new registration it is always addressed with the 3 names.
