I think within a week after the first debate Rasmussen polled Trump down 12 points to Biden. Quite a surge if Trump is now polling up 1. Hope this momentum continues over the next 8 days to give the Pres coattails to bring a majority Republican congress with him to get stuff done and get Pelosi out of there as Speaker
Trump took a hit from the first debate, but it was a short term reaction to the fustercluck that thing was... a few days later calmer heads prevailed and those not happy with that performance were over their initial reaction to it and support returned.
