Never understood how you can take various political polls each taken with different methodologies. Combine them and get a valid average and then say it reflects meaningful information.

I’m sorry, but the RCP average is a joke. It’s an average of bad and worse polling for the most part...and as an average of poll numbers it always covers a period of time when the polls were being run, and thus doesn't adequately represent the latest and most immediate numbers - i.e. it doesn't always pick up the direction in which the polls are trending - RCP's are the last numbers I'd pay much attention to.......
