We toss patio/pool furniture into the pool. Safest location, and it comes out as clean as can be.

I honestly have never thought of that, although that is the place it would likely end up anyway ;-).

Skip emptying the pool—drop in your furniture, and make sure all of your electronics are charging to the max. Enjoy a nice dinner, make a pot of coffee later and put it into a pre-warmed thermos. Bags of ice...
