Come South. Lot’s of trees. Mostly state and local governments that know their place. Lower cost of living and taxes. Here in Alabama I pay about $1000 a year in property taxes for 42 acres, house, two professionally built barns and a covered riding pen. I am moving closer to the coast soon, but am staying in Alabama.
I have family and 3 grandchildren in Huntsville. I like it there, but the cost must be right and THE LAND to hunt on and provide most needs is important.
