I've been going up to Mt. Shasta just about every year for decades, beautiful country, and quite the opposite of San Francisco Bay Area. I often dream of having a cabin there nestled among the trees near or in the city of Mt. Shasta. In the land of Jefferson. Northern California and parts of Southern Oregon should have become a separate state of Jefferson, where normal nice people live.

A major topic Mrs. K and I talk about. Somewhere that doesn’t have thousands of homeless and drug addicts all around you, where you are not safe going outside (latest warning is about gas stations, to be aware you may be robbed when you get out of your car to pump gas), where government doesn’t try to take all your money and yet only provides you crap for services and the infrastructure is all falling apart.
Don't forget we patriots in E. Washington state, we reject everything the Seattle/Olympia fascists embrace. Our law enforcement here also doesn't recognize/enforce any unconstitutional gun laws coming out of Olympia.
Shirley and I rented a cabin on Lake Shasta for our honeymoon, in 1974.
