“that her biggest regret from the campaign trail last year was saying she would put coal miners out of business.”

Irony. ONE MORE SMALL LIE added to the thousands she publicly wilfully told...

It seems like Biden has fallen for the fallacy that supporting the radical environmental agenda is good politics.

They plan to force it on us whether we want it or not, against the will of the voters. President Trump smoked that out of Slow Joe, who was completely outmatched and overwhelmed.

“ Of course the panels keep producing, but even adding up all the “free” energy from the panels, the payoff is about 10 years.“

And that 10 years of intermittent energy production is just about the usable lifetime of the panels....if you are lucky.

Agreed. There are other reasons apart from jobs thay are not being well explained, like having to choose between climate change and the destruction of the environment by renewable energy sources, irregularity of output (which has to be offset by the use of gas), the bigger ways in which renewables contaminate, etc. Explained in this ted talk (which also makes a case for nuclear energy). Its only 17 minutes. Really worth the time to be equipped with good short answers in a discussion of the topic.

The production of fossil fuel when you account for all the industries that support them, is arguably THE largest industry in America. Shutting it down would be catastrophic.

Last I checked, cars sure seem to like oil too. Michigan voters should take that into account as well.

Couldn’t sleep in middle of night... How do
Got to thinking... How will mining operations be able to continue with ONLY electric heavy equipment??? Some of those operations run 24/7.

How about massive farm equipment that costs a small fortune & is ONLY used 2 months of the year—and is idle for the rest of the year?

How do those farmers keep those batteries up? IF they need one quickly——how long do those batteries hold storage??

Do any of those LARGER items of equipment require heavy duty power to charge up?

How about ranches that are NOT even on the grid? How do they keep their equipment working?? Many use ATV’s along with horses and dogs to watch over their ranches. Want to get stranded on a 15,000 acre ranch in an ATV that has run out of battery power???

There are ranches in NE Nevada that have DRIVEWAYS over 3 miles long—to the highway. I know of a ranch that has 18 miles of dirt road from the highway to the ranch house & outbuildings-—ALL of those 18 miles are on their property.

The staff of Biden’s campaign have not thought this thru.

I haven’t heard ANY chatter about how they intend airplanes to fly or military ships to move about.

Well, those ranchers will have to be modified, too. They should be living in apartments in Reno, so they have better access to government social services. /s

Depends on the panels. I have a panel from 2004 still going strong. Cheapo panels will derate faster, and some may fail.

Maybe that there is no such thing as “fossil fuels” and that even using that term adopts the leftist view.

I doubt if you could even give that vehicle away,

Cuba will take them!

And all of the OTHER countries that do NOT foolishly turn off the gas!

There is always THIS left.

Sure they have!

Not many votes will be affected.
