Anyhow, here's a recent photo of me.
I'm in the red shirt.
206 days at sea without a port call. COMTUEX and go. Left Norfolk. Returned to Norfolk 206 days later. No stops in between. After 30 days, many people lost the music on their iPhones because there had been no internet update. The only land we saw were the Straits of Gibraltar, the Suez Canal, and a few islands off Yemen during the Bab-el-Mandeb transit.
Had a few beer days though!
Alright!
Thank you—and more so to your family (if you were able to maintain such) under those conditions. Jeepers. What some endure for the reminder of the nation that hides in the shadows protected by those like you.
No it was not a POW camp but it also was definitely not summer camp for the crew. Wow.
How many on board died from covid 19?
I see you!
Three and half acers of America, anywhere in the world.
What a beautiful Ship.
Is not having a port of call for so many days really hard on the crew? Or I suppose those Beer days help. :)
