Probably very true. Why aren’t these cops trying to find out the leaders and arrest them for conspiracy to riot and reduce the chances of it occurring. Or telling possible rioters that they will be shot if they do not follow police directions — no exceptions. Then the burden is on those who riot and don’t follow instructions.
If I were a business owner I would have zero confidence in any Democratic mayor (and their police chief) having my back.
I keep an eye on regional protest announcements.
The one time they planned to protest in my town ... it was cancelled without comment.
