If someone was feeding him answers they’ve surely been canned. He was awful.

Might explain why Biden referred to Pres. Trump as "Abe Lincoln" at one point. He probably mixed up two answers in the text.

I have a new theory about Biden’s Lincoln gaffe last night.

Many FReepers have suspected that Biden received instructions through an earpiece during debates.

Here is what could have happened:

The Presidents says “I have done more for black people than any President since Abraham Lincoln”.

Biden’s aides yell into the earpiece: “This is it. We got him. Trump is no Abraham Lincoln. He is a racist.”

But, Biden wasn’t paying attention to his earpiece and did not catch the first few words. What Biden heard was:
“Abraham Lincoln is a racist.”

and the rest was history....and Biden was history!
