I shop there and have witnessed the store aisle stock clerks rudely talking to customers to wear their masks properly.
It’s not what they say, it’s how they say it.
It’s been rumored that some of the store employees are BLM/Antifa, typical white young people attending the local colleges with a gig at Trader Joe’s. Most of these young people there are hard working and polite but a few seem to have adopted a Marxist mindset. These latter need to go.
The Store’s headquarters in California had shut down this store temporarily during the nearby riots and were thinking to shut it down permanently based on BLM influences but tens of thousands of its customers signed an online petition to keep the store open.
So it’s still open but maybe it should be shut down. The next store is a further 4 miles away. Not a big deal.
But after the rudeness I witnessed, I am thinking to divorce myself from Trader Joes.
If their prices go up, then you should stop shopping there—otherwise you are subsidizing BLM.
Are they all getting $15/hour minimum wage, as well?
Seems like the store will have to raise all the prices, to come up with the 15% for BLM. The higher prices will drive away customers, and BLM will end up having to find another business to taunt.
