by the time the debate ended, trump brought up the 47 years multiple times ... it was a brilliant strategy because there’s no real way to counter that claim because it’s absolute fact ... the only possible counter was that “I was just VP and could nothing anyway” and that would be a worse admission than just saying nothing ... i think trump was hoping biden would say that, and a couple of times it looked to me like biden was on the verge of saying that but checked himself ..
Also the fact that 8 years as VP and he STILL didn’t do anything either.
I wrote that after Trump brought it up once. But by the time debate ended Trump had hit that message about 4 times. Very effective
