I was taught growing up that the police are not your friends. Yes, you call them in moments of trouble; yes, they will help you when you break down; yes, for the most part they are needed for a civilized society. But make no mistake - they are not your friend. Whenever I get pulled over by a police office my number one life rule goes into effect - anyone with a firearm is indistinguishable from God.
Doesn’t everyone think that? Does feelsupbiden think that “white” people automatically embrace being pulled over/questioned by the police??
Conservatives need to point that out.
Actually, the reason that many of us may not have been specifically given the talk is because we were taught from an early age onto respect authority and not mouth back.
It wasnt a talk per se, but a lifetime of learning, a lifestyle.
We knew by the time we were teens how to interact with LE because we were raised with it.
