The criminals have decided to impose their own curfew. River North where most of the high end restaurants and hotels are located is a ghost town. The city looks deserted.

Yes, but I mean if the gangs already ignore the existing curfew, why would anyone expect gangs to care if you put another curfew in place? They don’t obey the laws, that’s what makes them criminals in first place.
I don’t go into the city anymore. Waste of time.
Don’t worry, the curfew doesn’t apply to Gang Banging, robbin, rapin and killin
And the police don’t enforce laws against gangmembers.
Much safer to go after some white collar workers who want to go to a bar after work.
I would assume that Chicago’s drug cartels would be designated as essential .... got to keep the revenue coming in to the city coffers.
