The reason is that no matter how badly Democrats in the House and Senate behave, the Republicans try to maintain a sense of bipartisanship and decorum. In other words, the Republicans consistently apologize for, and cover up, and accommodate to the bad behavior of their colleagues.
They will all reap what they sow. Sucks to be them. Truth and Light will prevail.
