Columbia University and Irwin Redlener could have saved 130,000 lives if they had issued this report in January.

Blood is on the hands of Columbia and Redlener.

That’s not how I read the the Timeline. I see a leader aggressively moving ahead to combat the unknown virus with unheard of speed and diligence. What more could be done than he did?? He did an amazing job in the eyes of any reasonable person.

Explain your comment!!!

Columbia University?

I would expect no less from one of the Institutes of Higher Indoctrination.

In South Korea they were doing “Sentinel” testing. This meant everyone going to a dr appointment was tested, with or without their permission. Those results were centralized and used to track down pockets of virus before they “broke out.”

It’s a great idea. But it breaks so many US laws it would be stopped before the first person was tested.

My second point is none of those countries is a federal form of government. All of the things they talk about are the responsibilities of the States, not the Feds.

One half of the story is fine. The other side of the story is quite different.

The concept is simple, but the people reporting the news never took the time to figure out how stuff is supposed to work—and legally, half the stuff they spout is not constitutional here.

Yes, if Dr. Fauci and the FDA had approved the use of Hydroxychloriquine.

It is criminal what they did, how many people died because of them?

You don’t think Governor Cuomo’s policy forcing nursing homes to accept known infected COVID-19 patients cost a lot of lives? Because most people think that cost a lot of lives.

Yeah a lot of vulnerable nursing home patients died. Unfortunate because that was one place where we could had done more to protect them.

I live in N Nevada.

We are still pretty well locked down, thanks to dictatorial Governor, Sissy Pants.

Driving home today from renewing my driver’s license:

Radio said there have been 732 deaths from Covid in Nevadas.

Let’s put that into perspective:

There are over 3 million persons in Nevada statewide...

Using 3 million for calculations:

3,000,000 == 100%

300,000 ==10%

30,000 ==1 %

3,000 === 1/10th of one percent .1%

300 == 1/100th of 1 percent .01

732 dead is 2 1/2 hundredths of 1 %-————

And we still have to act like we are in a brain surgery operating room.

OPEN UP THE COUNTRY!!!!!

West Virginia has a poulation density similar to Canada, and has done better than Canada containing Covid.

West Virginia followed the CDC guidelines.

its not our faault some states did poorly.

note, if all states did as well as Virginia, we’d have 120000 fewer deaths. Virginia has done beter than most countries.

New York did terribly. failed to listen, did all the wrong things, needed a bailout to survive.
