Will Changes to American Life Become Permanent?


To a degree, yes. I think we’ll be like China. There will be some people who always wear masks in public for the rest of their lives.

And the economy is “permanently” shrunk. Consumerism will take a hit for the long term. Not a huge hit, but a hit.

Movie theaters may be gone for good in the same way that drive-in theaters are gone. That is, not completely, but more as a novelty.

Etc.

And after the election this question may be moot anyway.
