Democrats in Kentucky will vote republican and then swear up and down that they didn’t. If you want a job with the state or as a teacher, you register as a democrat in this state.
Coming of voting age in Kentucky years ago, there was practically no such thing as a Republican. A candidate could be liberal or conservative, but in order to win, they HAD to be a Democrat.
Almost all Kentucky governors for the last 100+ years have been Democrats, and it shows.
Trump will win Kentucky by 60-40 or more. McConnell will win re-election but by a smaller margin.
I’m in Tennessee, a non-party registration state. My little county is still dem at the local level, 70-30. At the state and federal level we vote red at exact opposite rate.
