Joe Biden leads Donald Trump in six battleground states the president won in the 2016 election with less than two weeks to go.
The Democratic nominee leads in most national polls on the race but the battleground contests are significant because they offer a tighter view of the state of the race.
Particularly, Biden leads in three states - Florida, Pennsylvania and North Carolina - that are considered must win in order to take the presidency.

That’s what everyone says, but it never made sense to me either.
I think the real intent is to try to make the Trump campaign panic and switch up their game plan.
For example, President Trump has succeeded by being unapologetically conservative. He is outspokenly pro-life, pro second amendment, anti-fake news, anti illegal immigration, anti China, anti-fake climate change, anti globalist Wall Street.
I think the intent of these pro Democrat polls is to try and get Republican candidates to panic and betray their conservative base in order to appeal to crossovers.
This strategy has always worked on other Republicans like Bush, McCain, Romney - who are afraid of being “too conservative”. They believe there just aren’t enough conservative voters and to win, they must “moderate”.
They think that if Trump believes he is losing, he will make the strategic mistake other Republicans have made - betray his base and compromise to get votes. President Trump is too smart to fall for this ruse, and too genuine in his conservatism to betray his principles.
There is also a simpler explanation: polls are produced or sponsored by the same networks that produce the fake news. They are so far Left that they truly believe conservative ideas are stupid - they can’t believe a politician could win by running on a conservative platform.
Perhaps the fiddle with their weighting’s until they get the outcome they expect - which is that the better candidate (Biden!) will win.
You forgot that batch of idiots “in the middle.” Over the years its been shown that there are people in that group that have no clue and shouldnt vote but cast ballots anyway for stupid reasons.
There is a group that vote for candidate x “because hes going to win” and they want to be on the winning side.
Of course there are those that vote for other stupid reasons. Sometimes they vote for x because “he has better hair.” I knew someone that decided not to vote for Dole, not that he was a good candidate, “because his name reminds me of pineapples” and someone that couldnt vote for him because “then the leaders of the world will call my president “Flipper”.”
I suppose that some years the “better hair” voters might cancel out the “owns the right breed of dog” voters or what have you but the “winner” voters are said to be a large if stupid group among these voters and sometimes it only takes a little in one city in one state to make the dominoes start to fall.
Not that I think that its going to be anywhere close. The poll quoted here is actually saying that its going to be Trump by a landslide.
Remember when the MSM called Florida for Gore prematurely in 2000, discouraging many voters in the pan handle from even bothering to vote? That’s what they’re trying to do now. Don’t let them.
My son-in-law questions the right to vote for everyone. Says it should be like back in the day where it was property owners only...sometimes I wonder.
There are a lot of selfish people who would rather hate than use God given common sense to save this nation. Hating the the messenger rules your dumb and dead brain... Trump is the only thing/person that separates you from losing everything you have and forgot to be thankful for! You are too full of the left media gossip and your selfishness and hate to learn truth and do what is right!
You will live to regret it ..when evil overtakes you and your household... it waits in the form of the democratic party!
These biased polls need to align with the fraud/cheating they intend to commit...to make it look more legit.
