I kind wondered about him years ago when a movie he was either in or lent his voice to didn’t do well. It was an anti-Christian movie based on a book series called The Golden Compass. He really went off on the Catholic Church because the sequel was shelved. It also did poorly at the box office.

As you can imagine, Hollywood isn't going to give up on anything that is anti-Christian, so now there is a television series based on those books on Netflix.
