The Supreme Court only judges cases that are presented to it, and then only those that it chooses to hear. It does not pronounce on its own.
It’s unlikely there would be a case that challenged the entire set of laws that allow gay “marriage.”

Governments should legislate marriage and limit it to be between one man and one woman because that is the only hope that their children have of reaching their full potential. People who don't want to have children shouldn't get married.
If someone wants some specific person to be able to visit them in the hospital when they are sick, or engage in any of the other activities currently automatically assigned to spouses then they can get a lawyer and have him write up the necessary powers of attorney.

This government went off a cliff a long time ago. Gay marriage is just the lastest attempt to justify the breakdown in morals this county has embraced.
