I miss good flounder.
The local Greek/Italian place made first-rate fried flounder. Broiled was pretty good too.
Since the scam-demic, they stopped the flounder and a few other things.
The pizzas and everything else is still excellent.
Downtown Columbia has a tavern/restaurant place that makes a pretty good fish and fries combo. I get that usually once a week.
For flounder, we do the Showmar’s at the back of our neighborhood. It’s not true fish camp, but it’s Greek-run, a great meal..and three minutes from the house. For even better food and bigger portions, there’s another Greek-run restaurant about six minutes from the house. We’re lucky to have nearby restaurants. With the scamdemic...we pretty much stick around the house.
