Shouldn’t be a concern at this point in history. The Democrats now provide the questions to the secondary sparing partner, aka moderator.
Trump knows all this.
We have no one to blame but ourselves for allowing the left to metastasize into the vital areas of our political lives.
That's an unfair statement. Would I LOVE to see Andrew Wilkow as the moderator? You betcha. Would that be fair? Probably more than what we will get tomorrow.
But I think even if we had a hack like Wolf Blitzer or Megyn Kelly, or the former head of C-SPAN Brian Lamb, I think most of us wouldn't love it but would consider it a vast improvement than this clearly leftist moderator. At least you'd get a decent set of questions and some balance.
We aren't even asking for a bastion of impartiality, we just want a fair shot.
Remember when journalists reported the news?
Now most of them are flaming activists.
“We have no one to blame but ourselves for allowing the left to metastasize into the vital areas of our political lives.”

Kristen: (asks stupid/biased question)
POTUS: Thanks for asking that, Kristen.
POTUS then proceeds to make his own remarks that have
absolutely nothing to do with the stupid/biased question
that he was just asked by the hack Kristen Welker.
Kristen: You didn't answer my question.
POTUS: You're right. Next question.
How, exactly, were we supposed to have done that?
I ask because if we should have done it in the past
there is nothing that prevents us from doing it now or in the future.
What's the plan?
Kristen: You didn’t answer my question.
POTUS: You didn’t ask the right question.
That won’t be a problem this time because the DNC gave the questions to her. Biden already knows what they are.
That would be a good response as well.
Perhaps it is best that there be a completely Leftist hack asking “questions” to Trump and pitching softballs to Biden - because if it is anywhere as obvious as those so-called “town halls” of last week, but now everyone is watching the same thing at the same time, then a lot of people who have not been paying attention are going to notice and vote the exact opposite way vs. what Welker intends. IOW, if it is so over-the-top, it will backfire. Keep in mind that the people watching tomorrow will be watching for one (or more) of three reasons: 1) they are political junkies (meaning that they’ve already made up their minds); 2) they are watching for the same reason that many watch hockey or car races - they want an accident or a fight, and in this case are waiting for Biden to start talking in a mixture of ancient Greek and gibberish, or for Trump to announce that he backs the KKK (IOW, these people have also made up their minds, and hoping to witness the opposition implode); or 3) they are undecided. Now, mind you, I don’t understand how someone can truly be undecided at this point, but some are and (obviously) haven’t yet voted. Those people are ripe pickings for Trump if Welker is too over-the-top, and the odds of that are (IMHO) significantly over 50%.

I hope Republicans keep pummeling the Commission on Presidential Debates and their moderators. Everyone involved in organizing these events needs to feel the heat. Change will not happen unless it’s forced.

Trump should avoid debates with hostile moderators.
Let the moderators talk with Biden for an hour.
Trump can be interviewed by someone friendly to him instead.
Thank Howard Zinn for that
